Dr. Mohamed Hegazy, Director of Intellectual Property Rights Office in Information Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and the Head of regulation and laws committee in Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT).
He also is the reporter of the high consultant committee of Intellectual Property and Information Technology in Egypt. He is an IPR expert in the economic courts in Egypt.
He has been working in the cabinet Information & Decision Support Center (IDSC) for many years, Hegazy is also a founder and board member in the in the Egyptian Center for Intellectual Property & Information Technology (ECIPIT), as well as the executive manager of Intellectual Property Studies Center. In addition, a board member in the Egyptian Internet Law association. Besides being an instructor in Police Academy, Arab Academy for Science and Technology, National Judicial Studies Center and other institutions.
Dr. Hegazy has also participated in many legislative committees such as the committee of drafting and editing E-Signature law in Egypt. He is also an arbitrator in the Commercial Arbitration Center for the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC).
He is an expert in intellectual property rights, Data Protection, and Cyber Crimes fields.
